Living on a river has one of the biggest assortment of BAD BUGS! I am sweet :) so they especially like me. I have used everything on the market, homemade, chemicals, natural...and when I found this brand and special mixture I could finally go outside and enjoy living on a river. There are a lot of brands with similar names...don't be fooled, there is only one OBX.SKEETERBEATER. As long as they supply it, I will never use another product.
My husband and I found Skeeter Beater while vacationing on OBX back in 2015 and have been using it ever since. In 2019 we bought 12 bottles to take back home (PA) and gave them out as Christmas presents. We were really bummed to find out they were no longer in business when we went to OBX last year. I cannot tell you how excited I am to see this business is operational again. We will are customers for life as it's literally the only thing that works! Thank you!
We stumbled across Skeeter Beater at an Outdoor Sportsman Show in Virginia. I was very skeptical because I’ve found that usually the natural “healthy” bug repellants don’t work. But I figured for $5 we might as well try her out.
I tried it later that week & I was pleasantly surprised! It worked! Not only did I stop getting mosquito bites, but the ones I had got stopped itching! Haven’t tried it on a sunburn yet, but I’m sure it works for that too!
I live between two major rivers in Eastern NC, and insects can be a bit aggressive as well as pesky! It works instantly and lasts! I sprayed my pets, deck frame, and on clothing... no problem! This product is like the name says... and smells good and unlike other insect repellents!!!!! I will definitely purchase again...
